Uncle Mark

On November 29th a very bad man walked into a coffee shop and killed four police officers that were enjoying a morning cup of coffee, catching up on paperwork and planning out their day before their shift started.

One of the officers was our Uncle Mark.

I will never forget Uncle Mark. Here he is at Nick's 3rd birthday party... he flipped me over his shoulder to stop me from over helping Nick open his gifts. This shoulder flip was not an uncommon thing.

Yesterday morning I was told by my mom that, "the good guys got the bad guy that killed Uncle Mark." Good.

Aunt Kim, Ashley, Alli and Nick -- we are all so sad we have lost Uncle Mark.

We will always be here for all of you.
