SMASHING PUMPKINS

On the Friday after Halloween we had a few of our friends over for what may have been the first of many SMASHING PUMPKINS playdate.

We got to wear our costumes one more time (even got mom and dad to wear theirs), ate yummy pumpkin-y foods (like pumpkin pancakes, orange popcorn, pumpkin pie and pumpkin ice cream) and smashed pumpkins.  No really... we did.  Check out these fun pictures:

That was an awesome playdate.  We are so going to have to do this every year.  Only problem... our new house doesn't have a second floor deck.  We have a year to figure it out.

Halloween is now officially over.  Now where is my pens to start marking up these toy catalogs that are showing up in our mail and newspapers... Christmas is just around the corner, ya know!
