31 years & 1 month

Today - August 1st - is a special day. Why? Because my Dad turned 31 years old and my baby sister turned 1 month old.

To celebrate, while my Dad was getting in his round of free birthday golf -- my sister, Mom and I were busy baking a cake, wrapping gifts and even blowing up balloons.

I helped decorate the cake, choosing to write DAD on it with 26 candles (why not 31? wasn't sure he could blow them all out, I guess).

I decorated the house a bit with balloons and even made sure my daily planner showed we were having a party today!

My Dad bought this chair a few months back while all the construction stuff was going on. As a birthday surprise, my Mom and I put it together for him (and decorated it)!

See... my Daddy needed help blowing out the candles. I knew 31 candles would have been too much.

I had to make sure we documented the fact that Mom and Sienna were there too. So I took a picture of them with Dad (Sienna is in the pack my Mom has on -- you just have to trust me on that).

I convinced my Dad he has to play Chutes & Ladders with me -- I won! Sorry Dad... better luck next time.

Oh yeah, this post is also about Sienna turning 1 month old today! Happy One Month Birthday, Sister.

I had such a fun day today -- hope you did too, Daddy and Sienna!
