Hike to the Falls

Dad still home from work -- still keeping us busy!

Today was hike day.

Mom's college friend, Jenn, and her youngest daughter, Amilia, joined us on our hike.  Mom really enjoyed getting to catch up with her friend while keeping us kids busy.

Before the hike, we fueled up in the back of the car by eating our lunch.

Sienna walked at least a half mile or more at the start.  We were all impressed with how far she went... it wasn't just about the distance, but the increasing elevation as well.

Logan occasionally would run up ahead, climb up on a stump and fight his star wars opponents.  Yeah, he's cool!

Amilia is about 7 months younger than Sienna.  She even got out of the carrier pack once in a while and walked the hike.  It seemed like when Sienna would ride, Amilia would walk... Sienna would walk, and Amilia would ride!

We got as far as the "Lower Falls" and watched the beautiful water fall rush under our feet.

Anyone know of another great hike us kids would like near where we live?  This is a good one, but we've done it a few times now.  We are always looking for some where to go!
