CAMPING

Nick and I spent the weekend at Grandma and Granddads.  But it wasn't a typical weekend over there!  We went CAMPING in their backyard!!

We were surprised with our own backpack stuffed with a tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, water-bottle and compass.  Granddad helped up get our tents set up.  We didn't sleep out there the first night as Grandma wasn't ready just yet. 

The next day we went fishing!  We both caught a fish that they cleaned and froze for us.  It is still in our freezer... can't wait for a night that Dad is home and there is time to cook it up.

That night, Grandma was finally ready to spend the evening in the great outdoors!  Nick and I got to help "feed" the fire.  We roasted our hot dogs and marshmallows making the best camping dinner, ever!

Then it was sleep time... lights were out at 10:30pm.

The excited campers (me and Nick) were up at 5:30am ready to go ~ sorry about that, Grandma!  After finding ways to keep busy all morning, we went to a kids fair and picked up Sienna there so that she could join in on the camping fun.  First we rode the ponies and train before heading back to our camp site.

Sienna and I enjoyed camping in tents so much that after we got home, we set up tents in our bedrooms and fell asleep in them for a few nights.
