PUMPKINS

October = PUMPKINS

On Friday, Sienna got to go to a farm that had a "Pumpkin Hill" with her preschool class.  She was happy and excited about it... until she got there.  As soon as she got out of the car she wanted nothing to do with it and had no problem letting others around her know she didn't want to be there.

But Mom and Dad tried to make the best out of it!

They did manage to get one picture of her smiling as she held up the pumpkin she picked.  The smile left almost as fast as the picture was taken.

She couldn't even smile for her friends.

After they left, a few of the moms and kids met up for lunch.  Sienna was all smiles then.  She's like a jack-o-lantern... a face of many faces!

On Sunday, the four of us went to a different farm/pumpkin patch.  We had a blast picking out our pumpkins and exploring the farm.  Sienna was all smiles and laughter... Logan, too!

YOU CAN DO IT!

Dad and his crazy kids.

Now this is how you get around in a farm.

Found the perfect pumpkins.

What?  We aren't in the middle of a lake?  Floods don't happen around here until Spring?  What? Huh?

Oh... but we found some mud!

Oh Yeah!  Pumpkin sling shots.  AWE- SOME!!!!!!

We got seriously lost in the corn maze.  Mom even put out a SOS on Facebook hoping someone might phone in a special ops team to rescue us.  But we eventually found our way out with help from some of the Alice in Wonderland characters.

After the farm, we headed into the nearest town and found a late lunch.  The best part -- the ice cream!  Sienna still had half of hers to go, so she took it to go!  Yeah, the car seat got a bath after we got home... but she enjoyed every scoop!

The pumpkins have been cleaned off and are waiting for us out our back door.  Now we just need to figure out a good night to carve them.  Stay tuned for pictures!
