Next Year: Pre-K

Today was the last day of preschool this school year. It was a fun day even with all the rain outside. We had an indoor picnic and played at the same time. Sienna and Daddy even made it to school to help celebrate the last day.

We all got big hugs from Teacher Dorothy. She gave us buckets & shovels with mini hand-clappers and "Love Notes."

I'm going to miss my fellow Multi-Age Buds. They are moving on to Kindergarten next year and I'm going to start Pre-K. I'm going to be going three times a week and Teacher Judy will be teaching my class. Sienna will be in Toddler class with Teacher Dorothy.

In the mean time... we will be going to a lot of park playdates over the summer.

After we got home today, Sienna worked hard on crawling and she figured out how to move forward. She finally did it! It's not a true crawl... more of pulling her self forward with her arms. But it counts. She can move backwards, roll around, turn and now move forward. She got a bit growly at having to work so hard at it.

The other thing that happened tonight was that my Dad brought down The House for Sienna to play with. It was given to me when I turned one. At the time, my Mom hoped it would keep me occupied enough for her to get her work done. It didn't quite keep my attention as long as she hoped. Tonight... she is starting to realize it may now keep me busy.

It's fun sharing my old toys with my baby sister. The other day my parents got down The Horse that was given to me for my first Christmas. I'm so glad she is enjoying toys my parents say I am too big for (I'm really not... when they're not looking, I well, um... sssshhhhh!)

We are officially on what I call "Springy Summer Break" and will be doing a lot of traveling, park playdates, visiting friends and playing with all our toys.

My parents think the summer will just fly by...
