We took Mommy

We woke up this morning with nothing planned and it was a beautiful day outside. So we packed a lunch, grabbed our shoes and drove to the waterfall that dad and I hiked a few weeks back.

This time I hiked most of the way up and fell asleep for most of the way down (on daddy's back). Oh, and I peed standing up for the first time... and it was out in nature!

I am so glad we were able to take mommy with us today. I had a lot of fun having a picnic, hiking, and just overall spending the day with mom and dad outside of the house.

It's too bad fall is here and the weather is going to start getting colder and wetter... we're going to have to find some fun things to do as a family that is inside. But on those rare clear days... let's hike!
