Flushed

The other day, my Grandma dropped some coins that rolled into the bathroom. My Granddad thought he got them all, but missed one. A nickel.

While using the potty, I was playing with that nickel. My mom picked me up, put me down and flushed the toilet all in one swoop. Ops! The nickel fell into the potty at the same time.

It was flushed. Bye, bye!

Lately, I've been really attached to my cars and trains. I carry them around in a basket taking them from place to place. I take them out of the basket, put them in or on something else and then put them back into the basket and carry them over to the next place I want to put them in or on. I even sleep with the basket of cars and trains.

Occasionally, I will select out two or three and leave the rest behind for a little while. Today, Sally and Lightning McQueen from Cars were the lucky ones. The went to the potty with me.

Again, mommy picked me up, put me down, flushed the potty and pulled up my pants all in one swoop.

Lightning McQueen was gone! Where did he go?

We looked everywhere in the bathroom. I burst out in tears when I realized he was likely flushed down the potty. But how could he be flushed? My mom couldn't believe it. She patted me down, looked behind the potty, behind the door, in the garbage. Gone. Flushed?

I kept crying. My mom was almost in tears, too, as she knows how much I like my cars -- especially LaQueen (as I call him).

My mom called my dad to see if he could stop at the Disney store or Toys R Us on his way home from work to buy a new one... but he didn't answer. So we hoped on the computer and started looking up Cars on ToysRUs.com.

After a few minutes, my mom adjusted me and noticed something wasn't quite right. It was LaQueen!

He was hidden away in my pull up!

We did the Happy Dance.
