Sienna is One!

It's official...

I'm a One-Year-Old!!!

We had a birthday party with some of my family and friends before I turned one. We had the party on Saturday, June 26th. Correction: we had a luau. Well, as close as a luau as we could when the weather wasn't that warm and it was early in the day as we had to leave for the airport that afternoon to go to HAWAII. :)

My mom got me a Hawaiian-looking birthday cake. It came with a "Baby's First Birthday Cake" that is meant for me to destroy.

After opening gifts, it was time for me to try cake for the first time. I've been practicing for weeks how to blow... say the word and I pucker up and blow. But I never practiced with a candle in front of me. Let me tell you that it hurts to touch a candle flame.

After running my finger trough cold water and getting hugs and kisses from my parents, I was back in my highchair and dug just a little into my cake. I shared some, too.

After my sugar overload, I got into my birthday suit to take a bath and get ready for our big trip. I couldn't wait to get going and celebrate my birthday in Hawaii.

An hour after most the guests left, we were packed in the car and drove away with a fairly clean house (thanks Grandmas and Aunt Kris for helping make it happen). We got to the airport, checked in, walked to the gate and boarded the plane. Logan and I will post an update together on our big trip to Hawaii.
