End of Summer?!

The calendar says it is still summer... but it is September ans it is cold and wet! And not only that... preschool starts next week!

But before we officially say good-bye to summer, here is what we've been doing:

We've been playing together and having fun exploring what Sienna can do now that she is walking and playing and becoming, well, a toddler.

I went to the State Fair with my Grandma and Granddad. Granddad and I dressed up as a banana and I got to see (and ride) dinosaurs.

I didn't want Sienna to feel left out for not going with us to the fair... so I brought her back a banana crown and made her Queen of the Bananas! (she loves bananas... she eats one every morning and even says "na-na" for banana)

That same night, we went to Jump Planet to play with my preschool friends. It was the end of summer pot luck for the Pre-K class... only we didn't have a pot luck and didn't go to the park... it was pouring down rain. So we all went to Jump Planet and Sienna got in one of the jumpy houses for the first time. She loved it!

That next day, Sienna and I went to my Grandma and Granddad's house and my dad took my mom to the airport. She went down to the San Diego area for a concert. She saw her favorite band -- GREEN DAY. She said it was awesome and was happy she went. While there, she visited with our cousins and snapped pictures of Hayden, Carson and Maddy.

She got back the other day and we came back home. We've all been recovering from our busy week and are looking forward to the weeks to come. I snapped this picture of Sienna today while we were just hanging out and having fun at home.

Then we all got crazy in the tent!

Next week I start my last year of preschool: PRE-K (as in Pre-Kindergarten) I will be going three days a week and my mom will stay and work in a room for one of those days. Sienna will be going with my mom on Tuesdays as she will be in the Toddler class looking forward to 4-full years of preschool.
